The Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, NY is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate I for the Watertown Thrifty Shopper. You will provide outstanding customer service and help create an exceptional shopping experience, while promoting flexibility to meet personal and work obligations.

Requirements include weekend/evening availability, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work in an unsupervised setting.

Job description

The Rescue Mission is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate I to work in our Watertown Thrifty Shopper. The eligible candidate will play an integral part in our mission of Putting Love into Action. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service that will make the customer feel welcome while providing an exceptional shopping experience. The Watertown Thrifty Shopper promotes flexibility, which allows our sales associates to meet the needs of personal and work obligations. Therefore, regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of our team.

Requirements

• Customer service, processing transactions, cash handling, processing donations, cleaning, opening/closing
• Ability to work in an unsupervised atmosphere
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and days
• Customer-service oriented
