Job summary

Steel and Metal Service Center Pott is seeking a hard-working Sales Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain the store’s appearance. A background in customer service, forklift operation, and cash register handling is preferred.

Store hours are M-F 7:30AM - 4:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM - 12:00PM, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
• Willingness to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and direct customers to items throughout the store.
• Check in and put out to the floor incoming merchandise.
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
