Job Overview

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers throughout the retail store. The primary function is to provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, cashier duties, answering product‑related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties assigned by the manager. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to comply with federal firearms sales regulations and must possess strong knowledge of firearms.

Pay Range: $13.00-$16.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with service questions.
• Price store merchandise and adjust prices as directed by management.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves.
• Assist in receiving freight and organize incoming products.
• Assist in cycle counts.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Ensure accurate cash handling.
• Handle customer returns.

Other Duties

• Housekeeping duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Qualifications
