Job summary

INTERNATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE (IBC) seeks a Sales Associate for our in-office retail team. You will deliver the IBC Experience, assisting customers with financial needs, promoting bank products, and helping with branch procedures.

Responsibilities include friendly service, cross-selling, teller support, and participation in meetings and events to meet performance goals. A high school diploma or GED plus customer interaction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent; 1+ years of people interaction preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the IBC Experience by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
• Meet customer financial needs by promoting bank products and services to walk-in customers and outreach activities.
• Assist with branch opening/closing procedures and dual control.
• Support Branch Manager with adherence to the Compliance Facility Checklist.
• Maintain branch inventory and supplies; travel to assist other branches as needed.
• Assist and perform teller operation functions; attend meetings and events.
• Maintain personal sales performance goals and respond to customer complaints.

• Assist with branch opening/closing procedures and dual control
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the New Account Opening Process
• Support Branch Manager with adherence to the Compliance Facility Checklist
• Maintain branch inventory and supplies
• Flexibility to travel and assist other branches
• Flexibility to assist and perform teller operation functions
• Attend meetings and other events
• Maintain individual sales performance goals
• Promptly respond to and communicate customer complaints
• Assist with on- the- job sales training
• Other duties as assigned
