Job summary

Talbots in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a friendly part-time Sales Associate who can deliver exceptional customer service, apply styling expertise, and help customers build outfits.

You will work in a fast-paced team, standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing ladders as needed, and maintaining fashion knowledge to drive sales. Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected; 15–20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise and possess a love of fashion.
• Strong verbal communication and integrity.
• Ability to navigate computer/iPad/handheld system and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with standing long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability 15–20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service experience to promote products and build brand relationships.
• Assist management to build store business and support service enhancers.
• Serve multiple customers, multi-task, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge to create outfits.
• Strive toward sales and service metrics through clientelling and outreach.
• Complete operational tasks: filling orders, replenishment, recovery, etc.
