Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, help maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and assist with cashier duties. The role focuses on maximizing profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, displaying merchandise, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and ensuring store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; store or stock on the floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean and maintain store areas; comply with policies.
