Job summary

Cosmoprof is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a memorable shopping experience and act as a beauty advisor for hair color, cosmetics, skincare, and nails.

You will build relationships, inform customers about promotions, and help enroll them in the Loyalty program while ensuring accurate transactions and a professional store environment. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.

• Read and explain product labels and training material.

Cosmoprof Sales Associate

The Sales Associate will focus on one primary objective creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Must 18 years of age or older


• 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred


• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business


• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner


• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service


• Can read and explain product labels


• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.


• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
