Job summary

United Pacific seeks a Sales Associate to assist in store operations, provide customer service, and help maintain a safe and profitable facility. You will perform cash handling, light maintenance, and inventory security, reporting to the Store Manager and learning to operate a cash register and computer systems.

Qualified applicants should be 18+, have English communication ability, and be able to work irregular shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday (i.e., assisting in stocking/maintaining inventory levels) with appropriate safety equipment's.
• Significant amount of work is performed indoors, but there are times when extended periods of work may be performed outside.
• Capable of working in small spaces at times.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling, balancing cash drawer and reporting discrepancies.
• Lighting/fixtures cleaning & maintenance to keep store appealing and safe.
• Ensuring the security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Reporting to the Store Manager and following company policies and procedures.
• Learning to operate a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment.
