Job summary

Casa de Fruta in Hollister, CA seeks a seasonal team member to provide excellent customer service and assist on the floor and at the registers.

• Accurately complete sales transactions and maintain cash/media accuracy at registers.
• Ring items at correct prices and maintain proper till control.
• Minimize cash discrepancies to within +/- $5 per day.
• Thank customers at the end of the transaction.
• Handle difficult situations professionally.
• Follow drink recipes when preparing drinks.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance.
• Stock the floor as needed and keep store clean.
• Complete housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Follow recipes and portion control of produced items.
• Dispose of cull items properly and label paperwork.

• Handle difficult/challenging situations with a high level of professionalism
• Follow simple drink recipes when preparing drinks
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance
• Stock the floor as needed.
• Keep the store clean and free of debris on the floor and counter tops
• Complete housekeeping tasks as needed
• Follow recipes and portion control of produced items in the store
• Dispose of cull items properly and place on the correct paperwork

Special Position Requirements:

• Must obtain California Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment
• Cash handling is required. Cash discrepancies must not exceed +/- $5.00 per day
• Some exposure to cleaning products, (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, and other chemicals is required
