Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate to help run a customer-focused, safe, and profitable store. You will perform cash handling, basic maintenance tasks, and inventory security duties while reporting to the Store Manager. The role includes learning to operate a cash register and computer systems.

Applicants must be 18+, English-proficient, and able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays. Full-time staff may receive medical benefits and access to growth programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday (e.g., stocking inventory).
• Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place/remove signage.
• Significant amount of work is indoors, with some outdoor periods.
• Capable of working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Clean and maintain lighting/fixtures and related equipment.
• Ensure the security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and other store equipment.
