Job summary

CITY HOME is seeking Sales Associates to build an entrepreneurial career in furniture sales. You’ll leverage company support, marketing, delivery services, and aftercare to develop a personal client base and successful sales results.

No prior furniture sales experience is required thanks to our best-in-class training and strong leadership. You’ll grow professionally, with potential for personal and financial independence in a top nationwide retailer.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a full-time 40-hour schedule.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiarity with using an iPad for training and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Help guests design a home they'll love and build relationships.
• Engage and present furniture and service options to customers.
• Navigate large showrooms and be on your feet 8 hours a day.
• Create invoices and schedule deliveries.

Sales Associates have the opportunity to make one appointment per month or 100 — it’s your business, your time, and your choice.

What You’ll Do…

Compensation

This is a commission-driven position with uncapped earning potential. Success here at CITY HOME is about developing your skills and knowledge. You have the autonomy to grow by learning the product line and role-playing with your colleagues to accelerate your sales and professional development. After your first year, you can expect to make a minimum of $65K if you are hitting your targets, and you have the potential to earn up to $200k, or more, regardless of market conditions. It all depends on how you run your business and the effort you put in.

• Ability to guide customers throughout the showroom for extended periods of time. Some of our showrooms are equivalent to the size of two football fields and Associates have recorded over 15,000 steps taken in a single day!
