Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate at an assigned Springfield location to support daily operations, cash handling, and customer service with a focus on safety and profitability.

You will learn to use a cash register, computer console, and other job-related equipment while adhering to company policies and procedures. The role requires flexibility for irregular shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Stand or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds with safety equipment.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials.
• Indoors most of the time with some outdoor work; small spaces may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and operating cash register as needed.
• Assist in lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies and procedures.
• Learn to operate a computer console and related work tools.
