Job summary

Talbots in Waterloo, NY is seeking a part-time Sales Associate with a love of fashion to deliver exceptional customer service and build brand relationships. You will assist management, promote Concierge services, and help customers assemble outfits using fashion knowledge.

The role emphasizes teamwork, goal orientation, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and tech comfort are valued for handling digital systems and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle projects simultaneously.
• Be aware of fashion trends and information about new arrivals, including product knowledge.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas including clientelling/outreach and appointments.
