Carter's Inc. is hiring a Sales Associate to welcome customers, explain product features, and drive a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. You will handle POS transactions, assist with replenishment, and promote current promotions and loyalty programs.

The role supports a team-oriented, inclusive culture and requires lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. Applicants should be flexible for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Resolve issues proactively for customers and balance multiple customers in a busy retail setting.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite POS/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit options.
• Minimize store loss by delivering excellent service and keeping the store safe and clean.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:
