Norman’s Hallmark in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to deliver a caring, high‑quality customer experience and help clients celebrate life’s moments. You will learn product knowledge, assist at the register, and support store goals while maintaining a friendly, team‑oriented atmosphere.

This role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer a generous 25% shopping discount and incentive contests to recognize performance and effort.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our CARE program by genuinely connecting with customers and building relationships.
• Always put the customer first and deliver a memorable shopping experience.
• Meet enrollment goals for Crown Rewards program regularly.
• Operate register with accuracy and provide a smooth POS experience.
• Learn product knowledge and use selling skills to drive sales and satisfaction.
• Restock and maintain displays as directed by management.

Norman’s, the premiere, and fastest growing employee‑owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer in the East, is seeking a qualified Part Time Sales Associate for our location in Woodbridge, NJ. We are in the business of helping people capture their emotions and share them with one another. Our retail teams are driven to reach store goals while delivering a memorable genuine experience to each of our customers. Our Sales Associates are the key contributors in providing a ‘caring team’ atmosphere for our customers. They are most accessible to the consumer and are the primary resource of knowledge on the sales floor. We expect our Sales Associates to show initiative, be a team player, and exemplify excellence during every aspect of the customer experience.

Sales Associate Key Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store in which you drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer, building relationships, and earning her business.
• Belief that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals on a consistent basis.
• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience for our customers. Accountable for cash register accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
