Job summary

Talbots in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a part-time store associate with a passion for fashion and customer service. You will help customers create outfits, share styling advice, and promote Talbots products while delivering a memorable shopping experience.

You will collaborate with the management team to grow store business, stay ahead of fashion trends, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence and styling expertise with a love of fashion.
• Strong communication skills and integrity in customer interactions.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
• Comfortable using store tech (computer/iPad/handheld).
• Able to work cooperatively in a diverse team and store environment.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability 15–20 hours per week with flexible evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and promote products to build brand relationships.
• Assist management in building store business and utilizing Concierge program.
• Service multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and knowledge of arrivals.
• Create outfits for customers and suggest matching items.
• Aim to meet sales and service metrics (clientelling, appointments).
• Complete operational tasks: replenishment, orders, and recovery.
