Talbots in Newburyport is hiring for a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and fashion advice. The associate will leverage styling knowledge to create outfits, stay informed on new arrivals, and assist in driving store performance.

Strong communication and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential. The position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist the management team to build store business.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle projects simultaneously.
• Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit, color, fashion, etc.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.
• Maximize individual performance by participating in learning opportunities and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including clientelling/outreach and appointments.
