Job summary

COS is seeking a Sales Advisor in New York for part-time hours. You will greet customers, deliver high-level service from conversations to cash desk tasks, and assist with stock replenishment and merchandising.

You will work on the shop floor, in fitting rooms, and during deliveries, collaborating with your team to create a memorable shopping experience. Experience in customer service and familiarity with fabrics are helpful but not required.

Job Description

As the Sales Advisor, you are the friendly face that greet our customers and embody the heart of our brand.

You'll have the opportunity to provide customers with high-level service at every turn. From initiating conversations to assisting at the cash desk, fitting rooms and throughout the shop floor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience. Your responsibilities will also include processing deliveries, replenishing stock and merchandising the latest garments on the shop floor.

You'll guide our customers through their journey, offering genuine assistance and proactive service to uplift and inspire. Together, in collaboration with your team, you’ll create moments that matter.

While previous experience in customer service and familiarity with fabrics are nice to have, they’re not mandatory.

Additional Information

• This is apart-time position with a contract of 10-20 hours a week.
• Compensation: $19.00/hr

We use an online assessment tool called Maki for skills-based selection of applicants for sales advisor positions within some of our stores. Maki is not an automated decision-making tool. Rather, it is a tool that uses an AI-created avatar to present to you a set of multiple-choice questions. These questions are prepared by the H&M hiring team to assess candidates’ ability to perform the duties of the position for which they are applying. The assessment calculates your total score based on predefined point values provided by our H&M team.
