You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, process inventory, and maintain the store’s appearance throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to operate a register accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to take NYS Notary Exam and become a Notary Public.
• Understanding of sales techniques and good customer service practices.
• Willingness to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a cash register quickly and accurately.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card.
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers.
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives set by the company.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge to best help customers with selections.
