Job summary

Aaron's is seeking a Sales Associate in McAllen, TX. The role offers hourly pay with incentive potential and requires engaging customers, helping them find products, and supporting the showroom floor.

You will assist with stocking, cleaning and organizing merchandise, while performing clerical duties and maintaining a welcoming sales floor. Qualifications include being at least 18, flexibility to work 9:00 am–8:00 pm, and the ability to lift heavy items with appropriate equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work a schedule including hours from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

Sales Associate

The salary range for this role is $12.00 to $12.75 per hour*. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron's Sales Associates are a positive, energetic force on the showroom floor. You'll drive sales by engaging directly with customers and assisting them in finding just what they need. At times, you'll help clean, organize and even move merchandise. All of that can be physically demanding, but we'll make sure you have the training and tools to do that part of the job safely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help customers select their new products.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store.
• Proper telephone etiquette.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
