Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a confident Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster bedding products in our store. This role also supports management when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening or closing the store as needed.

You will assist merchandising, implement programs, train others, and help maintain Tempur Sealy’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ retail experience, especially with luxury or premium products.
• Strong consultative selling skills and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to lead, train others, and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and sell Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster products.
• Assist Store Manager in openings/closes and store operations when needed.

The Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate’s primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and/or closing the store as well as covering the management duties. What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities): Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store. Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and in maintaining Tempur Sealy’s brand. Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level. Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team. Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs. Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need (Qualifications): High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products Strong sales skills in a consultative environment Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting. Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards Demonstrated collaborator able to both lead and follow. Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.
