Job summary

Ace Hardware in Linden, MI is hiring to help customers with their home improvement needs. You will greet customers, help them find items, and provide guidance on projects. No prior hardware experience is required as extensive training is provided.

We offer a fast-paced, friendly environment with two weeks' advance scheduling, no late evenings; stores close at 7 PM. You will be on your feet for most shifts and may lift 25–30 lbs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and assist with their shopping needs.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and answer questions.
• Willingness to learn about products and store processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and help them find items.
• Assist customers with project needs and recommendations.
• Maintain a fast-paced, friendly store environment and operate the checkout as needed.
• Stand for 6–8 hours and lift 25–30 lbs as required.
