Job Summary

We are looking for part‑time Sales Associates that deliver outstanding customer service while driving strong sales. Key qualities include excellent people and sales skills, attention to detail in organizing merchandise, ensuring the floor is well‑stocked, and providing seamless checkout experiences at the register.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs through product knowledge, answering questions, guiding them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions, informing customers about current activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns, using product knowledge to offer alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management, informing them of restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals by collaborating to achieve overall store objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, handheld, and mobile devices

Essential Job Functions

• Operate cash register frequently
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs, placing and removing items up to a height of 5‑10 feet
• Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
• Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
• Communicate and exchange accurate information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face in the store, and with managers and coworkers
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and retrieve and put away merchandise from the stock room
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required
• Identify and discern electronic and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain in a stationary upright position for 80% of the time
