Role Description The Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Jackson, MS. This role is responsible for providing an elevated customer experience, including greeting clients, understanding their needs, and offering product recommendations that reflect the Michael Kors brand. Day-to-day tasks include driving sales, processing transactions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, replenishing inventory, and keeping the sales floor and fitting rooms organized. The Sales Associate will handle customer inquiries, support store promotions, follow loss prevention and operational procedures, and collaborate with team members and store leadership to achieve store goals. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed is expected.

• Strong customer service and clienteling skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate clearly, and deliver a luxury in-store experience.
• Sales and retail skills, including meeting targets, upselling and cross-selling, and effectively handling point-of-sale transactions and returns.
• Visual merchandising and product presentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining brand standards on the sales floor and in displays.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and resolve customer issues professionally.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues and adapt to changing store needs.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills, along with comfort using retail systems and technology.
• Prior retail or fashion/luxury experience is preferred but not required; passion for the Michael Kors brand and fashion is highly beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
