Job summary

Dickerson Petroleum is hiring a Sales Associate for our convenience and fuel retail location. You will use a cash register and related equipment, interact with customers, and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities include handling payments, assisting with questions, stocking merchandise, and may involve food preparation. A clean, customer-focused environment is expected, with potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Basic math and computer/POS skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 15-40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the location and provide friendly service.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments (cash, checks, cards).
• Balance cash register at shift start/end and process transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with questions, returns, or price discrepancies.
• Prepare and serve food items when required (e.g., pizza, ice cream).
• Stock merchandise and maintain a clean, healthy work environment.
• Support in replenishing coolers/freezers and assist with general duties as needed.

Our customers refuel with us through a fresh cup of coffee, a hot meal, clean restrooms, and quality fuel!Job Summary:As a Sales Associate, you will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transitions and interact with the companys customers constantly throughout your day while providing superior customer service. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and healthy environment with stocked merchandise. You may also prepare and serve food items.Duties & Responsibilities:Greets customers as they enter the location and meet company customer service standards.Maintains a clean and healthy work environment according to company standards.Adheres to all laws and regulations regarding the sale of any government regulated product or service.Operates the point-of-sale system and other available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners.
