Job summary

Goodwill is seeking friendly, outgoing Sales Associates to join our front-of-house team in Gorham, ME. You will welcome customers, assist with merchandise, and run the register, helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and a positive atmosphere for customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning items, stocking shelves, managing fitting rooms, and ensuring accurate cash handling.

• Math and literacy skills to support job duties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Goodwill is looking for friendly, outgoing people to join our growing team! Whether it’s greeting customers, chatting with “regulars,” or providing a great customer experience, Goodwill is the place for you! Working in the “front of the house” will be the main responsibility. Running the register, pulling merchandise to make room for new products, attending the fitting rooms, and setting a friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers alike!

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate works under the direction of store management to maintain efficient store operations. Responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, safe store. The Sales Associate is expected to create a positive employee and customer experience by modeling Goodwill’s mission and citizenship behaviors at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties include the following:
