Job summary

RoShay Services in Gettysburg, PA is seeking a retail associate to be the friendly first contact for shoppers, help locate items, and operate cash registers. You will engage with customers and support the sales floor throughout shifts.

Role Overview

This position serves as the primary contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining plan-o-grams and promotional programs.


• Unload trucks and follow established processes to receive, unpack, and store merchandise either in stockrooms or directly on the sales floor.


• Build merchandise displays, stock shelves, rotate products, and face merchandise for presentation.


• Restock recovered merchandise, assist customers in locating items, and operate cash registers for transactions.


• Handle store upkeep tasks such as dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining cleanliness.


• Greet customers, assist with merchandise ordering using handheld scanners, and help set up sidewalk displays as needed.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
