Uptown Cheapskate in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Sales Associate (part-time or full-time) to deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with outfits and style selection.

Responsibilities include tagging, merchandising, operating fitting rooms, and processing sales at the register. Part-time availability of 18 hours per week is required; opportunities for growth and cross-training are available.

SALES ASSOCIATE -- PART-TIME or FULL-TIME

Our Company & Culture: Do you love learning, fashion, getting a good deal, and helping the planet? Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable by giving life to gently used clothes that aren't being worn anymore. We're looking for part-time Fashion Consultants (sales associates) with at least 18 hours of availability each week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Help customers find outfits, gifts, and/or specific styles
• Tag, hang, senor items and run them to the floor
• Organize racks, merchandise clothing
• Provide dressing rooms to customers
• Ring out customers and teach them how to sell to us
• Learn how to check customers in for selling to us and maybe even go through their incoming items to determine what we should purchase from them for the store

The goal we have with our sales associates is to fast track promote and cross train them to new positions, based off their performance.
