Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate is part of Sales & Marketing and is responsible for driving sales to new customers while meeting established individual and organizational sales objectives. Hikma’s growing, energetic, and innovative pharmacy injectables Sales team will build and maintain valuable sales skills, cross‑functionally learn about all facets of the business, and help develop a pathway for growth opportunities and career advancement.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage, prospect, and build relationships within an assigned territory in order to drive new business, increase revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage matters of significance relating to sales pipeline, sales activity, and monthly business forecasting through customer interfacing activities and sales data analysis.
- Present regular updates to the Management team demonstrating ownership and engagement of position competencies pertaining to management and general business operations of the company.
Selling Skills
- Independently handle different sales scenarios, set agendas and use call plans. Follow sales process guidance with appropriate tool usage while adopting best practices.
- Win sales opportunities after they have progressed past various funnel stages by appropriately recommended call activity; close late‑stage deals; develop reasons for prospects to accept action commitments; overcome late‑stage deal obstacles; win confidence and support of buyers with high degrees of influence; grow and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
- Plan and assess the level of objection risk; achieve success in advancing sales stages when obstacles are presented by customers, due to competitive pressure, price restrictions, or unforeseen external challenges; follow corporate objection handling guidelines; advance sales stages through handling objections.
- Demonstrate and develop innovative win‑win solutions, uncover and develop company‑viable solution options from the client’s view and align them to their specific interests; partner the parties to leave with deal satisfaction; build trust through multiple communication methods.
- Implement methodologies to spot and exploit opportunities in account positioning; manage individual goals that correspond to a territory view; understand, interpret and adopt corporate strategic goals; conduct executive‑level discussions with senior staff at assigned accounts; produce a strategic territory plan; articulate customer value proposition and link solutions to the customer strategy.
- Conduct post‑call analysis, reassess strategy to determine the best action for sales calls, opportunity management and self‑coaching best practices.

- Take initiative and exercise discretion without guidance to develop plans of action, contribute ideas and suggestions to assist overall organizational efforts across the business; set individual goals and priorities; and work and produce sales results independently.
- Use language and other communication skills to influence customers and internal stakeholders to move business opportunities forward and execute action commitments. Manage up and present to customers and internal stakeholders in a professional manner to produce results while creating value/business solutions.
- Show initiative; exercise independent judgement and discretion by exploiting openings in sales/buying processes; ask difficult questions; develop valid business reasons and value proposition items to be adopted as customer priorities; share strong productive opinions with peers and managers regarding management and general business operations of the company.

- Demonstrate self‑awareness of strengths and opportunities by taking personal responsibility for individual development and identifying developmental opportunities to improve.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical inside sales preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest and ability in delivering presentations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, self‑motivation, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web‑based and telephonic communication, and e‑commerce applications.
- Willingness to travel at least 10% within the assigned territory.

Compensation
Base Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, with the possibility of a bonus. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience, job‑related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
