Carter’s is hiring a Sales Associate to be the first face of our brand for growing families in Canton, GA. You will welcome customers, demonstrate product features, and help families choose the right baby essentials and clothing.

This role involves handling transactions, assisting with omnichannel needs, and keeping the floor stocked and presentable. We value warm, solutions-oriented team members who communicate clearly and can balance multiple tasks in a busy store.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues proactively in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel shopping to ensure a positive experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit options.
• Help minimize store loss by delivering excellent service and maintaining cleanliness.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:

• A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once

You can:

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
