Job summary

SeaBear Company in Everett, WA is seeking Seasonal Sales associates to join our team. We value customer service, product knowledge, and a friendly, YES-oriented attitude.

You will help customers, process transactions at the POS, stock shelves, wrap gifts, and maintain store presentation. Availability around the holidays is essential; starting pay is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour with 30% employee discount and paid sick leave.

Job Requirements:

Retail Store Associates are expected to be highly motivated and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Additionally, the following job-specific requirements and skills are critical to the Retail Store Associate position:

• Must be customer service and goal oriented
• Must have an award-winning attitude (positive, warm, friendly, enthusiastic)
• Artisan Selling, including serving samples, having a “YES” attitude, being flexible, and gift wrapping/shipping
• Point of sale computer system use & financial transactions
• Inventory Stocking

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to stand and walk throughout the store for the entirety of their shift (except for breaks and meals)
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the public verbally and/or by written means to get information to the customer about products
• Must be able to see and read product labels, computers screens, receipts, etc. with or without the use of eyewear.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. in order to stock, move, and retrieve merchandise from the store shelves

Availability: Open availability is critical as hours scheduled are based upon business needs. More hours become available closer to the holidays.

Compensation: Starting $19 - 20/hour + employee discounts of 30% and paid sick leave
