Position Profile

Weaver seeks a State and Local Tax (SALT) Senior Manager to lead our SALT practice's Sales & Use (Indirect) Tax division. The role involves managing complex tax engagements, providing innovative tax planning ideas, staying updated on tax law changes, and mentoring staff and managers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA, CMI, or JD
  • 7+ years of SALT experience in public accounting, focusing on indirect tax compliance and consulting
  • Proven management, mentoring, and staff development skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Ability to attract and serve new and existing clients

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range is $141,000 to $290,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), flexible time off, sick leave, holidays, recharge days, and access to internal learning programs.
