Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Sales and Service Representative Registry to assist members in person and over the phone with memberships, reservations, and other branch products. You may provide registry services in select states, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities include promoting memberships, credit card programs, and club initiatives, processing changes, and handling confidential documents per policy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service with a focus in sales is required.
• Experience handling in-person and phone-based member interactions is preferred.

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:15pm; 40 hours per week. At least 2 Saturdays per month 8:45am-1:15pm; when working a Saturday, can opt for a full or 1/2 day off during the M-F workweek. *At times, business needs may require an earlier arrival and/or later departure.As a Sales and Service Representative Registry, you will provide sales and service to members in the areas of membership, reservations, and other branch products and services both in-person and over-the-phone. In select states, provide registry services and ensure compliance and state regulations are met. The Sales and Service Representative Registry will achieve assigned standards for sales and referrals, recommend club products and services, and embody club mission and value statements with all interactions.What you will do:Sales: Consistently meets or exceeds monthly and annual position-related performance metrics while achieving member satisfaction scores to support a positive and high-quality member experience and contribute to the Club’s overall goals and objectives. Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and services and applies the Five Diamond Service process, cross-selling techniques, and club and department training to educate members on available benefits and key performance indicators while maintaining a positive member experience. Stays current on branch and registry-related promotions and initiatives and recognizes opportunities to improve individual sales effectiveness and overall operational performance.Member Service: Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and services, using this information to promote the sale of memberships, including upgrades, auto-renewal, and digital membership. Utilizes technology and product knowledge to promote the AAA credit card program, business line referrals, and other club initiatives. Processes changes to existing memberships and assists members with questions or issues as they arise. Delivers accurate, timely, and complete information to members regarding club products and services while maintaining department service standards. Provides service to members both in person and over the phone and supports club partnerships, including Registry Services, TSA, and other applicable offerings. In select locations, provides registry and/or TSA services by handling and processing confidential documents and information, entering data into required databases and systems, and reviewing applications and forms for completeness. Services may include, but are not limited to, license or ID renewals and vehicle registration renewals, performed in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and service standards. Provides assistance with travel-related services and member needs including accommodations and points of interest, mapping and routing, and potential hotel or car rental reservations. Promotes and assists members with International and InterAmerican Driving Permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets, entertainment tickets, and other applicable club products and services. Listens actively to uncover member needs and concerns through meaningful, professional conversations that build trust and understanding. Speaks comfortably and confidentially with members ensuring respect, discretion, and alignment with AAA Northeast privacy, security, and service standards.Daily Operations: Acts as a liaison with internal departments including Travel, Insurance, Membership, Finance, IT, and Member Relations to coordinate information and support resolution of member and departmental issues.
