Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Water Treatment Sales Designer to support business development by combining sales, technical design, and project planning.

This role engages directly with clients to develop tailored water treatment system designs that are cost-effective and meet project requirements. You will create layouts, select equipment, prepare PFDs and P&IDs, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure feasible solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in wastewater system design, technical sales, or project planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of wastewater processes, piping, and hydraulics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients, understand project requirements, prepare proposals and cost estimates.

• Prepare design calculation documents and equipment lists; coordinate with engineering teams.

The Water Treatment Sales Designer is responsible for supporting business development by combining sales expertise, technical design, and project planning. This role engages directly with clients, develops tailored Water Treatment system designs, and ensures proposed solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales: Engage with clients, understand project requirements, prepare proposals, and develop cost estimates
• Design: Create layouts, select equipment, and prepare technical drawings for water systems, including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Planning: Prepare system-related design calculation documents and equipment/instrument lists, develop solutions, and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of proposed solutions.
• Client Support: Maintain strong client relationships by providing both technical and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in wastewater system design, technical sales, or project planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of wastewater, reclaimed water, or UPW system processes, including piping and hydraulic systems.and system equipment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules, and maintaining strong client relationships
