California Closets in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Design Consultant who will deliver highly personalized, whole-home design solutions and exceptional service. You’ll measure, design, sell, and oversee delivery of custom solutions with support from enhanced training. This role starts with a 12-week paid training program.

The position transitions to a commission-only structure after training, and you must have proven in-home consultation experience along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Interior design education or in-home sales experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365; comfortable with laptops and tablets.
• Sales software experience with Salesforce, CAD or design tools preferred.
• Creative yet detail-oriented with craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilités

• Design custom storage solutions using our CAD software.
• Meet monthly and annual sales targets via referrals and repeat business.
• Coordinate with installation team to ensure on-time completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.

Job Description

The Design Consultant role is critical to the California Closets Design Brand experience and the relationship earned with each and every customer. By listening to a customer’s needs and collaborating on every detail, this role is responsible for delivering highly personalized, whole-home design solutions and exceptional service. Supported by enhanced training, this role requires passion for design, integrity, and commitment to excellence for measuring, designing, selling, and delivering custom solutions that add lifetime value and impact. This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Commute to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions utilizing our proprietary CAD software program.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by pursuing referrals and repeat business.
• Continuous follow-up with customers and collaboration with the installation team to ensure job completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of different complexity in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, and/or in-home sales experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience working with laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices is required.
• Previous experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software is preferred
• The ability to be creative, yet meticulously detail-oriented with a sense of craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
