Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Sales Opportunity Analytics Intern in Lowell, MA for a 12-week program. You will transform an Airtable database into a predictive pipeline, consolidate risk flags, and automate follow-ups on stalled opportunities.

You will also design dashboards for leadership review, and explore AI-assisted issue summaries to guide resource prioritization. The role targets students pursuing BS/MS in analytics-related fields, with hands-on experience in databases, Python, APIs, and low-code

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and AI toolsets is desired
• Proficiency with Airtable, Excel/Power Query, or similar low-code tools; exposure to APIs, Python, or automation platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

• Transform the Airtable opportunity database into a prediction-driven pipeline management system
• Consolidate opportunity flag deal risk (stage aging, close-date slippage, forecast accuracy) and build automated follow-up workflows
• Design dashboards for management review of top opportunities by individuals, regions, and product lines
• Integrate AI tools to summarize issues and support needs to prioritize resources
