Job summary

Crystal Valley is offering a trainee program where you will learn from our industry-leading veteran Agronomy Sales staff and supplier representatives to build a foundation in the agronomy sales business. You will focus on understanding Crystal Valley’s crop input products, precision ag services, and operations during the training period.

Upon completion, you will transition into a permanent territory and contribute to sales growth, customer acquisition, and strong customer relationships while

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited related program is required or equivalent experience.
• Desire to obtain CCA Certification as part of professional development.
• Demonstrated experience understanding customers' problems and matching solutions to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn from our veteran Agronomy Sales staff and supplier reps to build foundational knowledge of the agronomy sales business.
• Understand Crystal Valley’s crop input products, precision ag services and operations during the trainee period.
• Be placed into a permanent territory after training and contribute to sales growth, customer acquisition and relationship building.

This position will learn from our industry-leading veteran Agronomy Sales staff and supplier representatives to work toward understanding the agronomy sales business before being placed in a permanent territory. Understanding Crystal Valley’s business, crop input products, precision ag services and operations will be the focus of the time spent in our trainee program.

Pay Range:

$50,000-$65,000/annually

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited related program. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Desire to obtain CCA Certification
• Demonstrated experience understating customers' unique problems and determining the best fit for their needs
• Agricultural background desirable

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, meet the driver qualification standards established by the self-insured group in which the cooperative is a member and comply with Crystal Valley’s drug and alcohol policy.
