Job summary

AAAHI AAA Hawaii LLC is seeking a results-driven Sales Agent to join our fast-paced team on Oahu. You will receive leads, qualify prospects, and quote memberships and personal lines insurance products, targeting monthly goals.

You will collect premiums, bind coverage, and enter policy data while expanding your knowledge of policy provisions and rating factors. Expect opportunities for cross-selling and occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to qualify for Personal Lines and Life Insurance licenses.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and quote prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collect premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into insurance systems.
• Develop knowledge of policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and systems.
• Follow up with members and insureds and prospect for new business.
• Cross-sell opportunities; multi-task and work Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

• Qualifying and quoting prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collecting premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into insurance systems, and responding to all underwriting inquiries.
• Developing a complete and thorough working knowledge of all insurance policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
• Following up with members and insureds and prospecting for new business.
• Inspecting related documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment.
• Multi-tasking and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Working occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required, college degree preferred
• 1-3 years sales experience preferred
• Must have moderate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Advanced communication skills required, both written and oral.
• Ability to qualify for a Personal Lines License and a Life Insurance License
• Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals
• Successful completion of a background, credit check and drug screen
