The role is based in Irvine or home office in US, reporting directly to the Director of Sales, Americas.
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. This role includes managing the quote-to-order process, building relationships with strategic customers. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Americas, the position also involves implementing effective sales strategies and fostering a high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, scale, and manage the sales Team to achieve growth targets for strategic accounts, priority OEMs, emerging winners, contract manufacturers, and industrial accounts.
- Establish and lead a culture of productivity, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies, processes, infrastructure, and scripts tailored to MedTech polymer products and catheter subassembly solutions.
- Coach and mentor the sales team, providing regular training on objection handling, closing techniques, and other sales strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with Marketing to align on lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including technical support, quality assurance, finance, and R&D, to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within medical device.
- Foster strong, long‑term relationships with existing accounts, securing next-generation projects and cross‑division opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and trust.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the medical device with a proven track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% as required.
