Job description

Overview

Role: SailPoint Developer
Length: Contract-to-Hire
Location: 100% Remote
Rate: $60-85/hr (based on skill level)

Apex Systems is looking for a SailPoint Developer to partner with one of our enterprise-level healthcare clients. You will work closely with multiple groups to increase automation within the identity space, such as automating Identity provisioning and deprovisioning, writing and deploying code to downstream applications, and provisioning IaC for an automated Identity Management System. Documentation will also be heavily important to ensure newly implemented processes are replicable. The new solutions should be enterprise-grade and focus on a consistent user experience leveraging SailPoint’s out-of-the-box design where applicable, with limited use of complex customization. Experience delivering outcomes through agile software delivery, Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, and tools such as Active Directory and SailPoint is helpful.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions.
  • Customize and configure SailPoint components to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate SailPoint with various systems and applications.
  • Develop workflows, rules, and policies within SailPoint.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Document processes, configurations, and changes for future reference.
  • Integrate security tools, standards and processes into the Software Development Life Cycle across on-premises and cloud applications.
  • Create new standards and best practices to increase effectiveness of provisioning and deprovisioning across a diverse environment.
  • Automate provisioning and integration as part of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Hands-on design, development and documentation of application integration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience with SailPoint IIQ, IDN, or ISC.
  • Experience with Okta and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Beanshell.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Identity and Access Management.
  • Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance.
  • Familiarity with security domain concepts such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and Federation flow.
  • Experience with Privileged Access solutions is a plus.
  • Exposure to agile product management including setting vision, roadmap, goals, user stories, and execution.
  • Ability to lead or collaborate with cross-functional resources to manage and resolve interdependencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
