Brown University Health in Fall River, MA seeks a dedicated food service helper to assemble, distribute and collect patient trays and ensure cleanliness across dish rooms and equipment. You will respond promptly to patient requests and maintain strict food safety practices throughout shifts.

The role requires reliable attendance, courteous interaction with patients and staff, and adherence to hospital policies while supporting a team dedicated to quality patient meals.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately Assemble, Distribute and Collect Patient Trays.
• Collects patient trays at the appropriate time and efficiently.
• Cleans wares and equipment used for this purpose.
• Cleans dish machine, dish room and equipment appropriately.
• Responds to patient requests in a timely manner.
• Handles food in a safe manner and observes HACCP plan.
• Passes patient trays in a courteous manner.
• All other tasks as assigned.

SUMMARY

Provides Patient Meal Service and cleans all area supporting Meal Service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately Assemble, Distribute and Collect Patient Trays
• Collects patient trays at the appropriate time and in an efficient manner
• Cleans all wares used for this purpose
• Cleans all equipment used for this pursues
• Cleans dish machine, dish room and equipment appropriately
• Responds to Patient request in a timely manner
• Passes patient trays in a correct and courteous manner
• Handles food in a safe manner (i.e. maintains temps, uses barriers, observes HACCP plan)
• Strips trays per procedure and in a timely manner
• All other tasks as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to understand and follow instructions

• Previous food service experience

• Is patient when responding to questions and answers questions appropriately

Pay Range

$19.30-$28.15
