Job description

As CohnReznick grows, so do our career opportunities. As one of the nation's top professional services firms, CohnReznick creates rewarding careers in advisory, assurance, and tax with team members who value innovation and collaboration in everything they do! CohnReznick helps organizations optimize performance, manage risk, and maximize value through CohnReznick LLP (assurance services) and CohnReznick Advisory LLC (advisory and tax services). Together, the firm provides leaders with deep industry knowledge and relationships, solutions to address clients' unique business goals and risks, and insight on how emerging market forces can drive opportunity. With offices nationwide, the firm serves organizations around the world as an independent member of Nexia.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Digital Advisory team. We advise a blend of small, mid-sized and large US and multinational firms on strategy, technology, and transformation, process optimization, analytics enablement, systems implementations, automation, integrations, data management, and more. Join our multidisciplinary Enterprise Application team as we lead clients to achieve operational excellence through developing a deep understanding of their business and, based on that understanding, leverage technology, innovation, and automation to glean insights and maximize efficiencies. CohnReznick's Sage Intacct practice is growing, and we're looking for a Senior Manager to help build it. This role sits at the center of the practice. You'll lead implementations, help win new work, and develop the people who deliver it. You'll work directly with the practice leader and have real influence over how the practice runs as it scales.

WHY COHNREZNICK?

At CohnReznick, we're united by a common mission to create opportunity, value, and trust for our clients, our people, and our communities. Whether it's working alongside your peers to solve a client challenge, or volunteering together at the local food bank, there are so many ways to find your "why" at the firm. We believe it's important to balance work with everyday life - and make time for enjoyment and fun. We invest in a robust Total Rewards package that includes everything from generous PTO, a flexible work environment, expanded parental leave, extensive learning & development, and even paid time off for employees to volunteer.

Our role is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implementation Leadership
  • Lead multiple concurrent Sage Intacct implementations from discovery through go-live and post-launch support, owning scope, budget, timeline, and quality
  • Run discovery workshops with client finance and operations teams to understand how the business actually works, document current and future state processes, and translate requirements into solution design
  • Oversee configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, and end-user training, staying hands-on in complex areas such as multi-entity consolidation, dimensional design, and project and construction accounting
  • Build project charters, plans, and effort estimates for both client and CohnReznick resources, and manage staffing across engagements
  • Organize and run steering committee meetings and serve as the primary escalation point for client executives
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and change requests, keeping clients informed on status and budget impacts
  • Direct third-party resources, including integration partners, Marketplace vendors, and subcontractors
  • Obtain client acceptance, close projects, and lead post-project reviews, feeding lessons learned back into the practice methodology
  • Transfer knowledge to client project leads so they're self-sufficient after go-live
  • Sales and Business Development
  • Partner with the practice leader on pursuits, including discovery calls, solution demos, scoping, estimates, and proposal and SOW development
  • Own solution design and effort estimates on proposals so what we sell is what we can deliver
  • Identify expansion opportunities with existing clients (additional modules, optimization, ongoing support)
  • Build working relationships with Sage account teams and collaborate with CohnReznick industry and service line partners (CAS, audit, tax, transaction advisory) on referrals and joint pursuits
  • Contribute to thought leadership, webinars, and industry events
  • Practice Development and Internal Training
  • Design and deliver internal Sage Intacct training for practice consultants and for colleagues in CAS and other service lines
  • Mentor, coach, and review the work of Senior Associates and Associates, and contribute to performance reviews and career development
  • Help build and maintain the practice's delivery methodology, templates, accelerators, and configuration standards
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding as the team grows
  • Currently travel is limited, but must have ability to travel up to 30%
YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related discipline; CPA a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of ERP implementation or professional services experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience in a consulting role
  • Proven track record leading full-lifecycle Sage Intacct implementations as project manager or engagement lead
  • Sage Intacct Implementation Certification required; Sage Intacct Construction or Project Accounting certification, PMP, or similar a plus
  • Strong accounting foundation, including multi-entity and consolidation, intercompany, revenue recognition, project and job cost, and fund or grant accounting
  • Industry experience in construction, real estate, nonprofit, or professional services strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting sales, including scoping, estimating, demos, and proposal writing
  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct integrations, data migration, and reporting (Web Services and REST API, import tools, Marketplace solutions, financial and custom report writers)
  • Experience leading, training, and developing consultants
  • Superb communication and presentation skills, with comfort in front of CFOs and controllers
  • Must have experience with documentation of project deliverables, including requirements, configuration, process flows, and test cases
  • Proficient with project tools and templates (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, etc.)
  • Self-starter who's comfortable in a growing practice where processes are still being built
