Safeway is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to welcome patients, assist with pickup of orders, and support a friendly, efficient pharmacy team.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to train toward pharmacy technician credentials and grow within the community-focused store.

Qualifications

• Must obtain proper licenses where required by local/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at the pharmacy and assist with picking up orders
• Provide prompt, courteous service to patients and fellow associates
• Support pharmacists with routine tasks and ensure accuracy in transactions

Job description

A Day in the Life:

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring our patients receive a prompt and positive experience at our Pharmacies. You'll welcome patients to our Pharmacy and assist patients in picking up their pharmacy orders. You are a true team player who is customer focused and willing to help when and where needed. This role is for someone who is excited by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients and community.
