Job summary

QPS is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our client in Spring, TX. You will promote a safe and healthy workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture.

The role includes coordinating training, inspections, incident investigations, and documentation, supervising the Safety Technician, and collaborating with leadership to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• At least two years of safety coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
• CSP or CHCM certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver employee safety training (PPE, emergency response, safe work practices).
• Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, inspections, and training records.
• Partner with leadership and employees to promote continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Stay current on regulations and industry best practices.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and external safety vendors.

Wage: $27.00 - $32.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8am-8pm Monday-Friday
