Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Ensure safety policies are being followed
• Advise management on potential safety hazards on job sites
• Develop and manage safety programs and initiatives
• Conduct training/coaching sessions for employees and contractors on general industry rules and regulations
• Investigate and report safety incidents on job sites
• Coordinate and document incident, accident, and near-miss investigations; recommend corrective actions
• Work with employees and contractors to identify and implement corrective actions to prevent hazards
• Stay up to date with industry rules and regulations and communicate any changes to employees and management
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including contractors, clients, and management
• Assist with job safety analyses (JSAs), risk assessments, and pre-task planning
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to integrate safety into daily operations and projects
• Coordinate safety orientations and ongoing safety training
• Maintain the HSE databases to ensure compliance throughout the organization
• Monitor and track safety metrics, inspection reports, and corrective action follow-ups
• Support emergency response planning and drills
• Serve as a point of contact for safety-related questions and concerns in the field
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

FIELD SAFETY TECHNICIAN NEEDED IN KINGFISHER, OK

As a Field Safety Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed on worksites. You will oversee safety inspections, conduct risk assessments, and identify potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. Your ability to think on your feet and work with little supervision will be instrumental in completing your tasks efficiently. Additionally, you will have the capability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and effectively manage communication to prevent any communication breakdowns.
