Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Hazmat experience is required.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavior-based safety observations and train others in this skill.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, equipment inspections, and meetings to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate safe work techniques and safety drills quarterly.
• Lead injury prevention efforts addressing unsafe behaviors.
• Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend daily pass downs and weekly safety meetings.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and operational integrity.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and ensure compliance.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly training with teams.
• Ensure Safety Work Permits are followed and safe systems are in place.
