Job summary

Narrow Way Energy is seeking a Safety Technician to join our team in Ohio. You will help create and sustain a safe work environment across solar construction projects, training staff and coordinating safety measures.

Responsibilities include delivering safety training, maintaining records, inspecting PPE, and identifying hazards with a focus on heights and electrical safety, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• CPR and first aid training completed.
• Safety certifications or credentials are required.
• Ability to present safety trainings and presentations.
• Maintain and audit safety records and checklists.
• Inspect safety gear, tools, and PPE for damage.
• Identify and mitigate hazards, including heights and electrical systems.

These would be some of your responsibilities:

• Provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations and procedures.
• Advise the company’s administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.
• Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines.

Need have:

• CPR certificate & first aid training
• Must have some form of safety certs
• Must be able to present safety presentations
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform inspections on safety gear, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Hazard Identification: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, particularly regarding working at heights, electrical high-voltage systems, and environmental conditions.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and inspection checklists.

Job Compensation:

Overtime is offered after 40 hours at time and a half.

Perdiem on days worked if traveled to job location
