Iron Senergy is seeking a Safety Tech to lead the respirable dust sampling program in our Waynesburg operation. The role supports a 3-shift, 7-day-a-week continuous mine by ensuring MSHA compliance and safe, efficient dust control practices.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in mining, a safety-related degree, and PDM certification or the ability to obtain it. Strong communication with MSHA and operations is essential for ongoing safety improvements.

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Safety Tech is to facilitate the company’s respirable dust sampling program in accordance with the MSHA respirable dust regulations. All aspects of the position should contribute to a safe, efficient, and profitable, 3 shifts /day, 7 day a week continuous mining operation.
Job Specific and/or Technical Skills Required
Thorough understanding of the principles of safety, federal and state laws as they relate to mining, occupational health regulations as they apply to the mining industry and basic computer skills.
Required: Minimum 4 years Mining Experience
Preferred: BS Degree in Safety Management or related field
PDM certification (or ability to obtain certification)
MSHA limited or unlimited instructor card (or ability to obtain certification)
PA Assistant Mine Foreman or PA Mine Foreman Certification (or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire)
