PHILIPS in PA seeks a Health and Safety Engineer to partner with engineering teams to identify hazards and implement proactive safety improvements in a manufacturing setting.

You will conduct in-person safety training, audits, and investigations while supporting sustainability initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration across levels to drive a safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field, equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and occupational health and safety principles.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives, waste reduction, and recycling programs.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Partner with engineering teams and frontline employees to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement solutions.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.
• Conduct in-person safety training on safety topics and foster a strong safety culture.
• Perform safety observations, audits, incident investigations, and trend analysis to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and ISO standards; document and support KPI reporting.
