Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead the safety team, oversee compliance with safety regulations, and support company and customer objectives at our facility.

The role requires a proactive approach and attention to detail to keep operations efficient. The position emphasizes environmental health and safety in a warehousing environment, with a mix of on-site audits, policy development, and training to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated support to the safety team and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain and communicate EH&S processes and procedures.
• Review and ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Conduct on-site or virtual audits of facility EH&S programs and initiatives.
• Develop and communicate EH&S/security programs and action plans as needed.
• Lead safety/security meetings, training, and continuing education.
